Harnai: A tragic explosion near a coal miners' vehicle in the Shahrag area of Harnai has left multiple workers dead and several others injured, police confirmed.
According to law enforcement officials, the blast occurred near laborers working in a coal mine. Many of the injured are in critical condition. Security forces have reached the site, secured the area, and begun collecting evidence.
Harnai Deputy Commissioner stated that 11 miners lost their lives, while 8 others sustained injuries. The injured were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

Most of the victims, both deceased and injured, belong to the Poran village in Shangla.
The spokesperson for the Balochistan government expressed deep sorrow over the loss of workers and confirmed that medical treatment for the injured is ongoing at Shahrag Hospital.
Provincial government spokesperson Shahid Rind stated that an investigation has been ordered into the incident. Initial reports suggest that the explosion was caused by an explosive device planted on the roadside.
Authorities continue their probe to determine the perpetrators and ensure justice for the victims.
